Visit, opening hours and prices
2023 Season
The Château de l'Islette is open to visitors every day,
from May 1st to September 30th.
Opening hours:
10:00 am to 7:00 pm
The castle can be visited freely using mobile application to be downloaded from your usual store or with the help of a tour brochure in 10 languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese).
Also guided tours in French are also available for individual visitors (see timetable below).

Adults: 10,50 €*
Concession: : 7,00 €
Young people from 8 to 18 years old - Students under 25 years old on presentation of their card - Holders of a disability card or elderly people unable to visit the first floor - Inhabitants of Azay-le-Rideau and Cheillé on presentation of proof of address.
Free: children under 8.

- 2 parents + 2 children (8/18) 32.00 € (saving 3 €)
- 2 parents + 3 children (8/18) 37.00 € (saving 5 €)
- 2 parents + 4 children (8/18) 42.00 € (saving 7 €)
- 2 parents + 5 children (8/18) 47.00 € (saving 9 €)
Annual admission: €27.00 (excluding paying events); €18.00 (excluding paying events) for residents of Azay-le-Rideau and Cheillé on presentation of proof of address. Passes are sold at the château ticket office only.
*8.50 for holders of a full-price ticket for the Musée Balzac Château de Saché for the current season.

There are no reservations possible for guided tours.
Some information
The dogs are welcome at L'Islette. However, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the park. Only small dogs are allowed into the Château and must be carried in a basket or in their owner's arms.
