Two pianos, two concerts

Evening of "Two pianos, two concerts"

An exceptional piano evening in the Parc de l'Islette

On the occasion of his 10 years, Daudin Pianos joins forces with the Château de l'Islette to offer an exceptional musical evening in the castle park: two concerts and two grand pianos!

To celebrate this anniversary, two concerts will showcase the piano, in very different but complementary styles: Édouard Ferlet – PIANOID and the Rémi Panossian Trio.

With PIANOID, Édouard Ferlet offers a unique experience centered around the augmented piano. Surrounded by two pianos, he creates a dialogue between acoustic playing, technology, composition, and improvisation. The result lies at the crossroads of jazz, contemporary music, and electronic textures, in a language that is at once precise, organic, and surprising.

The Rémi Panossian Trio, formed around pianist Rémi Panossian, also brings together Maxime Delporte at the bass and Frédéric Petitprez on drums. In fifteen years, the trio has given more than concerts in some forty countries, on major international jazz stages. His music combines energy, melodic sense and freedom of improvisation, with a lively and accessible approach to the jazz trio.

In the unique setting of L'Islette, on the banks of the Indre, this evening invites the public to enjoy the park at the end of the day, to settle down for an aperitif or a picnic, and then to discover two strong musical offerings, combining virtuosity, invention and the pleasure of an open-air concert.

The first concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. The evening will end around 9:30 p.m. after the second concert.

On the program:
Access to the castle grounds from 6pm
6:30 p.m. — Édouard Ferlet – PIANOïD

followed by the Rémi Panossian Trio (ending around 9:30 pm)

⚠️ L'Islette in Venetian style – June 20 & 21 – event cancelled ⚠️

Due to the high temperatures forecast for this weekend and the heatwave warning, the decision has been made to cancel the event, in the interest and for the safety of both costumed participants and visitors.

We thank you for your understanding and hope to be able to postpone this event to a date yet to be determined, probably at the end of the summer.
